2023年度國立臺灣科技大學暨日本九州工業大學學術合作計畫，自即日起至2023年2月10日(五)下午5時止受理申請

◎說明：

一、計畫目的：透過本校與日本九州工業大學(以下簡稱KYUTECH)合作研究之學術交流，藉以提升兩校研發能量與學術合作，開發具高應用價值與產業價值之研究主題。
二、計畫執行期限：自2023年4月1日起至2024年3月31日止。
三、研究計畫主題：不限特定領域。
四、計畫主持人資格：
     (一) 臺科大方計畫主持人(含共同主持人、協同主持人)需為本校專任教師(含研究人員)及專案教師，第三方機構研究人員得經本校與KYUTECH雙方計畫主持人同意後參與研究計畫。
     (二) 每件計畫申請兩校補助總經費以不超過新臺幣50 萬元為原則 (NTUST：新臺幣250,000元， KYUTECH：1,000,000日圓)。             

五、計畫主持人具有下列情形之一者，不得提出申請：                                                          
     (一) 曾受本項補助，於計畫執行期滿未辦理結案或繳交成果報告者。
     (二) 曾受本項補助，於計畫執行期滿二年內未有兩校主持人共同合著之SCI、SSCI或A&HCI論文發表者。

六、申請補助經費項目：
     (一) 研究人事費：依本校相關規定編列，且計畫主持人不得編列主持費。
     (二) 儀器設備費。
     (三) 業務費。
     (四) 國際差旅費。

七、申請期限及方式：
     (一) 計畫申請期限：即日起至2023年2月10日(五)下午5時止，逾時不予受理。
     (二) 計畫申請方式：
          1.計畫申請書電子檔請email至研發處謝玟嫻wenh16@mail.ntust.edu.tw，分機5211。
         2.計畫凡涉及人體試驗者，應檢附醫學倫理暨人體試驗委員會核准文件一份；涉及基因重組相關實驗者，應檢附生物實驗安全委員會核准之基因重組實驗申請同意書一份；涉及動物實驗者，應檢附動物試驗委員會同意書一份。

八、經費結報及成果發表會：
    (一)計畫執行期滿，應依規定完成經費結報並繳交研究成果報告後，該計畫始為結案。
    (二)期中報告應於2023年10月31日前繳交。
    (三)雙方計畫主持人應參加成果發表會，學生亦可出席，但須由主持人進行口頭報告。
    (四)成果報告應於成果發表會舉辦後繳交，以作為日後申請審議之參考。
    (五)計畫執行期間，雙方任一方主持人如因故無法繼續執行計畫，應取得另一方主持人(校方)同意，始得變更計畫主持人，新計畫主持人應負擔計畫執行之所有責任與相關KPI。

 九、研究成果：
    (一)計畫執行結束後2年內，應完成正式刊登相關研究成果於SCI、SSCI或A&HCI期刊。
    (二)期刊發表應由計畫主持人及共同主持人擔任第一作者或通訊作者。
    (三)若研究成果有多篇論文發表，共同主持人之列名及排序應參酌其參與程度決定。
    (四)其餘研究成果作者排序，由共同參與之研究人員依實際參與貢獻程度協商後決定。
    (五)研究成果發表時，若該研究計畫由日本九州工業大學方主導，請註明『日本九州工業大學與國立臺灣科技大學學術合作專題研究計畫經費補助』，英文全名為 Kyushu Institute of Technology - National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Joint Research Program，(KYUTECH-NTUST-No. XXXX)，簡稱為KYUTECH-NTUST Joint Research Program。若該研究計畫由國立臺灣科技大學方主導，請註明『國立臺灣科技大學與日本九州工業大學學術合作專題研究計畫經費補助』，英文全名為National Taiwan University of Science and Technology - Kyushu Institute of Technology Joint Research Program，(NTUST-KYUTECH-No. XXXX)，簡稱為NTUST-KYUTECH Joint Research Program。

  十、計畫執行相關事宜：
計畫執行期間，經費分配、動支核銷、變更及延期等事宜，應依本校相關規定辦理。

Call for Proposal 2023 KYUTECH-NTUST          

1.P urpose

This program promotes mutual cooperative research between NTUST and KYUTECH in order to enhance the research result in international society establishing international industry-academic alliance with overseas universities, institutions and companies. Thus, the program aims to acquire competitive /external funds and publish international joint papers.

2. Period of Joint Research Project Execution： 2023/4/1 ~ 2024/3/31

3. Topics for Collaborative Research

The research topics are not limited to any category.

4. Applicant Qualification

Ⅰ.Applicants who were accepted in the past and fall under the following circumstances are not eligible:

(1) The last year’s joint research project is not completed or the midterm/final report is not submitted yet.

(2) After the project is completed, no SCI, SSCI and A&HCI papers related this joint research project are published within 2 years.

Ⅱ. A person who meets the requirements stipulated Article 13.

Fund for each project shall be equally provided by KYUTECH and NTUST (NTUST：250,000 TWD / KYUTECH：1,000,000 JPY).

The Project may have a researcher(s) from a third party organization if the both Parties agree.

5.  Structure of Research Team

Any research project shall consist of a research group from both parties. Principal investigator (PI) from each research group may have any other researchers or graduate students as team members.  

6. Assessment and Selection Committee

Assessment and Selection Committee (“ASC”) consists of faculty members from NTUST and KYUTECH. ASC members assess, select the proposals and approve the budget for the accepted projects. ASC members participate in report meetings and monitors the progress of each project and evaluates.

7. Constraints on the Use of Funding

Each university shall be responsible for the management of its own research fund in accordance with each financial rules. The funds shall be used in accordance with each financial rule. The fund can be used for travel, the expense related report meeting, equipment, consumable products, remuneration to students, and miscellaneous expenses.

9.  Application Deadline

The application must be filed no later than Feb. 10, 2023.              

10. Notification on Accepted Projects

Application decision will be announced by end of Mar. 2023.　　

11. PI Meeting and Joint Conference

11.1 PI Meeting (Kickoff meeting)

PIs from each university must attend the PI (kickoff) Meeting (via teleconferencing, if necessary) and

Submit the kickoff meeting report after the kickoff meeting is held.

11.2 Joint Conference (Report Meeting)

PIs from NTUST and Kyutech must attend final report meeting which will be held later.

For the report meeting, the student can attend. However, the presentation should be conducted by PIs.

12. Reports　

A joint midterm report must be submitted before Oct.31, 2023.

A joint final report must be submitted after the final report meeting is held.

13. Paper

At least one paper based on this joint research program must be published within 2year after the project is completed. Personnel from both NTUST and KYUTECH must be listed as authors of the aforementioned papers or listed at Acknowledgements of papers in accordance with authorship.

14. Other

Should a PI be unable to continue with the project, the PI may be substituted only upon the consent of the other PI. The new PI shall assume full responsibility of project execution and KPI.
